1.       Find out the vehicle’s history. Always ask for a vehicle history report! This report will tell you the history of the vehicle. Has the vehicle been in a flood, totaled, etc? 2.       Know the value of your prospective vehicle purchase. You can find bluebook prices online. If a car is listed at a much lower price than the bluebook value, ask the seller why. Although you will find the best deals on the internet, the old adage “if it seems too good to be true, it probably is” still holds true.

3.       Get to know your seller. Ask questions. Start a conversation. Is the seller responsive? Ask how many cars they have previously sold online.
